Calla Wine Farm is a sanctuary where nature, heritage, and artistry unfold in perfect harmony. Inspired by the Arum Lily, also known as the Calla Lily, a symbol of purity, elegance, and life, our name and philosophy honour the beauty of nature’s design, and speaks of renewal, growth, and the quiet elegance of nature unfolding.
Our yield reflects both devotion and detail, from the nurturing of the vine to the refined expression in the glass. Guided by the unique terroir of Franschhoek and the gentle rhythm of the seasons, our wines are both intimate in character and expansive in spirit.
Against a backdrop of rolling mountains and a mosaic of vineyards, Calla stands as a place of discovery, where every grape reveals the delicate balance of life, growth, and nature’s quiet sophistication.
WINE
Shaped by cool mountain breezes and generous sunlight, our grapes produce wines that reflect the elegance, balance, and unique terroir of Franschhoek.
Our yields are currently sold onto neighbouring cellars but there are plans to create our own unique wine on the property.
Current cultivars are Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz.
New vines are currently being planted to guarantee disease free, high quality grapes.

Handpicked from our Mission and Frantoio cultivars, our extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) is crafted with care.
Pure, filtered, untamed.
We produce a well balanced olive oil with lingering pungency, with artichoke, walnut and floral notes.
